Very nice surprise to find the quality and style of a sushi place like Tatsu. Been tasting sushi up and down the Bay Area for years and somehow never found this one. It’s now added to the list of must returns. Complimentary appetizers not needed but were super appreciated.

Fresh and delicious food. Service is superb, several waitresses were coming to us to see if we are satisfied. Nice ambiance and every dish is tasty. Highly recommend for great food and atmosphere experience!

I greatly recommend this place to everyone. You will not regret it. The food worth the price. My order was served to me in 10 to 15 minutes. The miso soup was out of this world, as well as the sushi we ordered. I will always come to eat at Tatsu Sushi. It is also clean. They have great customer service. I give them 5 star rating.

Great food, good price, and excellent service. Especially by the hostess Keyli, who made us feel welcome and offered up a great tasting, Salmon Carpaccio. We will be back for more and hope Keyli can be our server someday.

Awesome sushi spot near Walnut Creek! The variety and selection here is amazing, and all the sushi tastes super fresh. We ordered a couple of their signature rolls to share and each one impressed us. The size is generous for the price and they even include gyoza and miso soup for free with your order. The atmosphere inside feels very clean with lots of attention to detail on the plating. I’ve been looking for a go-to sushi spot in this part of East Bay and Tatsu might be it!

The food was PHENOMENAL! I really lived This sushi places. It was delicious and extremely fresh. I enjoyed it very much. Hands down one of the best sushi places I've been too. This place was introduced by a coworker and she's very familiar with the stay. The service was great! Server made me feel welcomed and was very attentive to our tables needs. Very friendly people and overall outstanding customer service. From the cooks to the severs and host. The service was amazing! Ambiance was so cute. I loved the lights and the cherry blossom tree inside of the restaurant. A lot of art everywhere. A lot of parking space and many shopping stores. I enjoyed coming here I definitely recommend this place.

I came to visit my mom and it turned out she had dinner plans with friends, so I became the chauffeur and drove them all to Tatsu Sushi. No one could remember the name of the restaurant (we're talking octogenarians here) but they knew how to get there! There was a wait and there is a handy dandy waitlist console that will text you when you're going to be seated. My mom has no concept of this but the staff is super sweet and helpful no matter what tech level you are. When we sat down, we were immediately brought water. While we perused the menu they gave us miso soup (apparently there is added soybean paste to give it a fuller flavor). My mom got the teriyaki chicken as did her friend, one woman got sushi rolls and I went for the poke and I wanted to try the garlic edamame. OK HANDS DOWN THE BEST GARLIC EDAMAME EVER. I have never seen beans get devoured that quickly. I have heard the edamame also has add soybean paste flavor, but never asked the chef. The poke was so fresh and I couldn't even finish my bowl, but luckily my brother showed up with his two kids by coincidence so I made him finish my poke - because it would be a crime to waste that fresh fresh fish. I also fed some edamame to his finicky children and THEY LOVED THEM AND WANTED MORE. Meanwhile, the rolls came out and they were beautiful, and the chicken teriyaki portions were HUGE. How this restaurant is making money is beyond me. One order of the chicken teriyaki would last me three to four meals... omg. And if you order more than $35 you get FREE GYOZA/POTSTICKERS! So right there this is a perfect place for families. The wait staff is super chill and friendly, seems a lot of locals come in so the atmosphere is relaxed but professional. And because I'm Asian, I had to pre-submit my credit card before anyone else in my party noticed and the price for what you get is ridiculously inexpensive. I was really surprised the bill wouldn't be much higher for four adults, and because many older people here are in a fixed income, I think my mom and her friends really could relax and not sweat the cost and just talk. So this restaurant experience was absolutely fantastic for me. So this restaurant might be a great place to bring a date. Tons of parking (it's part of a shopping plaza) and just a great mix of people. If I lived here, I'd be here weekly for reals! I am really thankful for being introduced to this place!!!
